Floor Plans: A Closer Look at the Alderwood Series
Today, we are going to take a look at the homes in the Alderwood Series, a part of our Cascade line of homes. The Alderwood currently comes in two different designs: the traditional Alderwood and the Alderwood III-2. Both designs have a number of upgrades available and offer plenty of space for a newly married couple or a small family.
The Alderwood
The traditional model offers 1010 square feet of living space, including two bedrooms, an open living/dining/kitchen area, and a two-car garage. The home has a large basement that you can upgrade to a fully finished room, include a separate entrance, and add on a finished 3/4 bathroom. For those who need even more room, you can add on a third garage stall or expand the main garage. The flexibility of the Alderwood means it can be a great home for larger families or for those who need a large amount of storage space.
The Alderwood III-2
If you know right away that the Alderwood model is too small for your family, then you should take a look at the Alderwood III-2. This upgraded version features three bedrooms, a large master bath, and a second full bath. It still has that great open living/dining/kitchen area, plus it includes a large basement that, like the first model, can be finished and be upgraded to include a bath. Then you’ve got the large garage and if needed, the optional third stall. This model has over 1300 square feet of living space. Two of the bedrooms have good sized walk-in closets while the other has a more traditional wall closet.
If you have teens at home, this is a great option. It is also an excellent option if you have college-age kids who are living at home while studying. The finished basement with bath can give them a separate living space and some privacy while still saving money on room and board.
